Meet the Doctor

Dr. Richard Randolph, a native of Virginia, received his Bachelors Science degree from the University of Virginia.  While at UVa  he cofounded and resurrected the Washington Society Literary Society, becoming its first president.  After working as a budget analyst for a major software company, he entered the University of Alabama School of Optometry, graduating in 1988.  In 1989 he settled in Wilson North Carolina to practice Optometry.  His is past president of the Kiwanis Evening Club.  He is  past president of the Eastern District of the Optometric Society.

What Makes us different?

I am the last solo practitioner in Wilson not affilitated with a chain.  When you walk in the door, the first thing you will notice is that the atmosphere is relaxed.  This is not a huge office with multiple doctors.  There are no stations where patients are moved from one station to another.  If you are looking for an office with a more relaxed atmosphere, a more one on one experience with the doctor,  then this is the practice for you.  Not having multiple stations has practical advantages too.  If you or someone you love has mobility problems, it is by far easier to simply sit in the examination chair and have all services and testing be delivered in that chair, without the necessity having to move from room to room.
